I got me another fox squirrel from the woods today

It was about 33F out there today with sleet and wind. It kinda made it chilly but I was hunkered down in one of my favorite spots, it wasn't the first squirrel that I saw but I only got a glimpse of the first one, the second one is the one I got, I seen him coming my direction from a long way off through some brush, he went up a tree towards the top and by this time I had stood up to get me a good lean on a tree, on his way back down I nailed him and he dropped like a rock.  He was probably 40-45 yards off when I shot him.

WOW Good Shooting Wayne !   That's a Nice One !    You and Disco Dave are on a Roll !    As for me.. well.. I spent the day digging myself & others, out from yesterday's "Snow Event".    We had a High yesterday of 17 F and a snow storm.   I was only supposed to get 1 or 2 inches of snow because I live way too far north of Minneapolis/St Paul, where the storm came through the hardest.  Yea Right !    I got 10 + inches of snow or more and major snow drifts from the 45mph winds.  I am just glad that I was not living south of the Twin Cities. That is where the REAL Snow came. They had a full blown blizzard going on.. and some places got over 25 inches of snow plus the big drifts too, Much Bigger Snow Drifts than mine.    Gee Whiz..That's some Very Good Shooting Wayne, both of you and Disco Dave are doing Fantastic this year.      You guys are going to get real tired of eating squirrel,   if you both keep Knocking them down at the rate you are going at.   That's a GOOD Thing !         K.O. Guys.. after reading this post, It's Decided.... I'm going out hunting tomorrow !  ...Absolutely.. FOR Sure !... I think ?  Hope?  Pray ?

Nice shot on that chubby fox squirrel Wayne.  Sometimes they just don't bleed at all and makes it tough to find the entry point if you don't clean them, but wetting them does the trick too.
 
Next time do what Disco Dave does.  Use a little red nail polish on them to enhance the presentation and video
