not as note worthy as many in here, but pretty unique imoP.S. high wind warning, according to the weather, unless it blows my hat off its only a breeze, 75 mph is normal for where I live
If my old phone didnt die a horrific death I would have a bunch of strange cloud photos, some a little hard to believe. but I will be on the look out for good ones

I had a lot of memories that I lost on that one.
I had a computer HD crash on me back in the day. I had so many pictures of family and important events including pictures of my mom who had passed away. That literally took me to tears. I lost them all. From that point on I burned all pics, documents and important files to a CD every Thursday. I don't know why I picked Thursday, maybe it was the day they did the weekly backup at work or something.

A part of my kids' age period that I lost forever, and mostly myself to blame for not backing it up. Hard lesson learned! And here's another saga to this story. So, of course, I went online to see if I could fix this. There was a website that claims they provide service to retrieve crashed HD, SD cards and such. Claiming SD cards were typically a $200-$300 service. So, I sent in my card. Then got an email for an estimate of nearly $1000! I declined the service and requested the return of my card. They wanted $40 to ship back a micro SD card! Now, I'm smelling scam. I, begrudgingly, took my loss and just let them keep the corrupted card, because I sensed they weren't going to send it back anyways. Also, I suspected something fishy from talking to the person on the phone. He didn't come across with that professionalism of a business entity.
I don't own a mobile phone. I keep my photos on my laptop and back them up on a solid state portable hard drive. And I back that one up to another one I keep in the car.You should aways have one back-up somewhere other than in your house!
I don't trust any of the "cloud" systems. Remember what happened with Photobucket?

Brett....Chinook Pass on route 410 that runs between Enumclaw and Yakima is a great run for views. IIRC at one point you look over and it seems like you can reach out and touch the mountain (Rainier). Then going down the other side was one of the most incredible sights I had ever seen. It was above the tree line and a blanket of fog was laying in the valley. The very tops of the trees were poking up through the fog. I had to pull over and stop. I just stood there taking it in for quite some time. Awesome. IIRC there was a horse stable up there and lots of trails to ride.
