I’ve been shooting one I found locally for the last year without issue. It will digest pretty much any jsb pellet made with great accuracy out to 40 yards . I also shoot 31 grain cast out of it at about 650 fps . Absolutely love it .
I have 3 steroided rifles. They are awesome. the only "downside" is that you need to cock the guns before pumping - though I have always done that anyways, so its normal for me, but some people don't like it for some reason. as long as you keep them lubed up good with secret sauce, there are no problems. only sent Tim accurate guns. accuracy will not change. power will. and I never ever pump mine to 14. thats crazy. I do 10 max. I don't necessarily do it for the power. I'll send them to Tim if I get one that already doesnt work, and if I'm going to ship it to cali anyways, I might as well pay for the whole works, and I HIGHLY recommend the billet lever. its AWESOME!. necessary on the newer guns, but even on the older ones, its clearly superior. if I had a gun that was very early or especially mint or collectable or something like that I might not steroid it, or if it already works perfectly fine I wouldn't do it either, but if you have one that needs to be resealed anyways, then why not.
