Funny you should ask... I just tried some in my .22 FX Crown Continuum the other day, and they are as accurate of the JSB Hades I usually shoot. The Hades have been awesome for rats, but the Hornets are really great for those hard headed critters!

Outrageous! I have been a meatatarian my entire adult life, not because i love meat, but because i believe it's cruel to cut vegatables from their limbs or pull them out of the ground leaving their siblings to wonder what happened to them. Why would this man think it's okay to shoot a potato? It wasn't harming anyone. No, it was dug from the ground and shot with a pellet for balistic testing! It's bad enough agriculture companies are growing vegetables in labs to test pesticides and herbicides on them. That is no life for a vegetable.

I cannot with a clear conscious support the elimination of innocent potatoes for testing purposes other then testing to see how they taste fixed a variety of ways. I am also a solid supporter of PETA(People Eating Tasty Animals). Research into my family origins have found there is trace DNA from T-Rex and Great White Sharks both in my DNA.

I read a story about a potato that made its living do just that act Scott. Fired from a spud gun into a catch bed of aluminum foil. He was always pushing the boundaries of safety. First it was a butter filled foil, then he added sour cream. Next thing he's got bacon and cheese in the mix. Everybody knew it was getting more and more dangerous, but he wouldn't listen and it finally happened he was going to land in cheese with chunks of broccoli placed in it. But a slight miscalculation of the gun and BOOM, he landed to close the Curley fry booth. He didn't die in vain, he died in hot oil and was said to be delicious and crisp.
I can't have a French fry or baked potato without thinking of that sad occasion.

i put 3 - 14 round magazines of the .177 Hornets in a 5/8" hole at 40 yards with the HW100BP-K. amazing accuracy. i can see using them for raccoons in a larger caliber. i have about 30 pellets in reserve for next saturday's squirrel opener.

I had high hopes for them in my .25 Marauder but they were not accurate enough for over 10yd shooting.

I used it, .22 caliber in my Liberty, on a racoon that was raiding the bird feeder during the wee hours of the night.
Head shot at 35 yards and was down for the count. Went straight through never to be found.
The birds lived happily after.
