FX Streamline .22 who owns & loves it like me?

I suppose proof is in the shooting.  Off today and decided to check and see if the hammer spring adjustment tune on my FX Streamline was still holding.  The answer is YES!!!  A month after the new tune to shoot velocities of 905fps with JSB 18.13’s and 940fps with JSB 15.89’s on high power the Streamline hasn’t changed a bit(40 shots per fill).  It’s a lazer from 100 yards and in, just where I need it to be!  Here are screen shots of the 8 shot string chronograph results shot today 1/12/2018.  Also a photo of the rifle.  I was considering installing a Huma regulator but I believe I’ll hold off on that(absolutely no need) the FX regulator flat out performs!

Isn't the FX already regulated? I would touch a thing she's working great. My Armada IS getting an Huma regulator among a few other things. This AG is so beautiful in the laminate stock, I'm thinking it's my next gun.

again I went to the field, again I shot the heck out of the .30 Impact, again the streamline never left the bag. 

I had plans, but it was cold and my fingers got cold, so we cut it short and went home.

I’m sure if I owned a .30 cal Imapact I’d shoot it more as well!  Why don’t you just mail me over that .25 Streamline I’d put some rounds through it for ya!  Lol!

I waited for a long time. I almost beat myself up over whether I should start with a $300 gun. But considering how much I already need to spend for the HPA equipment (I do not want to pump), and also  considering that I would probably want to dump the entry level gun within a year or two for something that makes me smile every time I touch it I came to the conclusion that life's too short for owning a stable made up entirely of budget rifles. Still, I was frugal and went with the synthetic stock.

Well, had a chance to do some chronograph testing again today and wanted to illustrate a couple of Medium and Low power 8 shot strings.  Mind you this FX Streamline is tuned to shoot a bit hotter.  Here are screenshots of JSB 15.89’s & 18.13’s ran through the rifle at Medium and Low power!

Great gun to start out with, I believe if it’s in ones budget.  Hope you get a good one!    My advice is to buy from a dealer who runs a total function test before sending it out to their buyers.  Signed and sealed.

I used my Streamline all wkend for barn pest bird hunting. It works Great! I mainly used it on the 2 dot power wheel setting to get more shots. It is set at 750fps with a 16gr. JSb. I would dial it up to the 3 dot on power wheel for the long shots and didn't even have to move my scope. Super quiet to not spook the farm animals. My stock is the soft touch syn. and that is nice when its cold outside. It is very warm to handle. I also used my Walnut stock Monsoon and couldn't believe the difference in how cold it was to touch. It was 11 degrees Sat. and -2 degrees Sun. so it was very cold. It was so cold that the magazines were hard to install and remove from the breech. Anyways, we ended up taking over 200 birds in 2 hours Sat. and 100 more Sun. It was kinda slow Sun. Amazing stress reliever. The Streamline is a Great .22 rifle.

I bought mine from Airgun Depot and when I received it I filled it up and all the air leaked out in a matter of hours. I sent them an email and they returned it for new one ......no questions asked. They provided the shipping label.  The next one was perfect! Very satisfied with their customer service

I do keep hearing about quality control issues; troubling. If you end up with one that works well, sounds like a great gun.

I can't blame you ... as far as diabolo shooters go i will not spend $1000 on them ... if it's a custom big bore like my ranger 45 well that is another story, and were also talking 800 fpe ,and more !  ... FX needs to get the price down  more .. if they had a streamline in .30 for around $700 ... i would own 1 ... as long as it shot as good as my .30 carnivore that i payed $500 for that tears the center out of a dime size circle at 50 yards .. a bit heavy.. but shoots lights out !

Yep, guys you just have to go with what makes you happy.  What made me happy this morning was I got my 25 cal streamline out for the first time in 4 days.  At 30 yds the very first 3 shots all went in the same hole with a cold gun.. All my airgun life I been looking for an air rifle that would do that.. I been smiling all morning.  All the best.  Brian

Yep, guys you just have to go with what makes you happy.

My mother (rest her soul, died last year at 99) used to say "Everyone spends their money on something. It might be a nice house, car, clothes, travel, food, financial security, helping others or ... something, unique to their individual needs and wants."

Only people with lots of money fill all those needs at once. Most of us have to prioritize. On my limited retirement income, I must prioritize.

For me, at Christmas, I treated myself to a new speaker system for our living room. I've been playing guitar since I was 15, toured semi-professionally for 3 years, sold Hi-Fi components part time for a while and have always enjoyed music; a lot.

Got myself a Sonos Playbase (sits under the TV) for $700. Paid it without a blink and almost no purchase guilt what so ever.

It's still less that $1000 for an air rifle. It produces, smooth, clear, balanced sound for both my music and my home theater (a modest 40" HD screen). I will enjoy it every day, rain or shine, warm or cold, day or night for years to come.

To quote my mother "Everyone spends their money on something." For me, this checked a priority. 🙂

Still, nice music is not my ONLY interest.

Hence, some budget air guns, which I enjoy.

I may yet buy a Streamline, but will sell of most of my budget rifle collection if I do.
