Glasses and scope height

The top of my glasses are always in the way when I look through the scope.  I have high rings on a hatsan AT 44 QE.  Scope is a leapers.  Anybody got any insight on what to do.   Maybe add a riser or is it eye relief problem?   I have shot some without my glasses but I have to use them to load so it's a pain in the rear going back and forth.

Generally what I do if If im shooting while wearing my glasses, is set the scope ocular adjustment to be clear without the glasses.   Ill keep my glasses "low" on my nose so when i look through the scope I am looking above my glasses.    Hopefully that makes sense.     

Generally when i use this method, i can still see some of the top frame of my glasses,  but its not enough to effect my sight through the scope

I tried that and it worked well but I was taking my glasses off and laying on bench.  I will try your way out.

Essentially just slide your glasses down as far as you can, tilt your head down and look up into the scope with your eyes.
    Your cheek piece will be your limiting factor.

Yes I think I can make that work.  I did notice that this problem doesn't exist while standing.  I think I have a shooting bench and chair height problem.

I dont do any bench shooting except for orginal pellet testing and zeroing.  I generally wont wear my glasses for that.

I haven't had this rifle very long.  I am doing pellet testing as well

If you are tilting your head so far forward that you are seeing the rim of your glassed, your cheek weld is far too low. You should be looking almost straight into the ocular lense.

Not looking up st such an angel, will allow your eye to focus on the crosshair far longer, without blurring as well.

Finally, you have to consider slight paralax As you walk and hunt, or stand and shoot, you are looking, or should be looking thru the very center of the lens. If having to look upward, as in seeing your glasses frame, you are probably looking lower than the center as well. And definitely in a different plane of the scope than when actual off hand shooting. This can throw a shot easily 

Another reason many people get a scope sighted in on a bench, then miss in the field. Usually thinking the scope is now off. In reality, it is many times the different in weld that is off. In a shooter with contact lenses, the effect is greatly compounded.

This is the first rifle I have shot scoped since I got glasses.  I hunt deer with a bow exclusively for the last 15 years and shoot scoped pistols at steel for fun.

Does shooting without glasses affect the scopes power. I.E. would a 9x become 5x or whatever with glasses  removed ?

Shouldn't... the scope is still magnifying 9X, you didn't change that.
 I think I see why you would think that now that I am wearing bi (actually tri) focals.
Rx Glasses are a pain. I have been wearing them for going on 50 years now. At first I was near sighted (could not see far away) now that I am older I need correction to see up close.
Some scopes I can adjust the parallex to use my glasses, some are better set without. No two seem to be the same.

If I'm doing pellet testing from the bench I have a better time with a pair of single vision glasses than my progressives.

The only problem is that I then have blurry close vision when picking or loading pellets.

Ya know Taso, I haven't tried that. I think I still have a pair of my old Rx glasses that were Pre-Bifocals.
