Here is what my magazines look like.  The clear acrylic cover is definitely not aligned with the pellet holder holes.  I don't understand the direction from Zeddymon, are you saying to sand out the clear acrylic to make that hole even larger?

Check your magazines with a good straight edge across back (Black) side,
I had one that thicker in the middle and edges, that caused loading problems.

I laid it on a piece of 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper, that was lying on a dead flat piece of alum,
and made a half dozen figures "8" moves, checked the mag again and did a couple more sanding moves,
before the mag would slide in perfect, just like the other 2.

If you remove the bbl, for whatever reason, when installing the bbl back into the receiver,
ALWAYS check your mags for operation, saves a lot of headaches down the road................

My Gauntlet mags were horrible, had to do the same trick, to every one..............

My new 25 cal mags were looking about the  same as yours, first remove the mags "O" ring,
It also helps to dismantle the mags, (NOTE the spring ends), and deburr them etc, then use the drill bit.
I had a ton of burrs on the center wheel and pellet holes, on every mag.
I found a lettered drill bit (25 Cal) and slide the sharp drill back and forth a couple of times,
this removed numerous burrs left from making the mags.

Own my 25 cal mags, I found the bolt probe "O" ring was larger than the "O" hole in the mag,
and caused problems loading pellets etc, had to open the mag holes just enough to clear the probe "O" rings,
then polish each side with a hand held rubber sanding burr, to get rid of the sharp edges etc.

Make sure the mag "O" ring holes fit the "O" on your probe

yes, just the clear part, some of us had it rip probe orings, which would cause accuracy loss
if you turn it around and notice the same on the back then its more likely burr issues as don described

OK, so it's not the magazines.  I'm not saying they couldn't use the adjustments listed above, but on Mike Melick's suggestion I loaded pellets individually without the magazine at all.  Groups did not improve at all and what I thought was roughness pushing the probe through the mis-aligned magazine actually takes place inside the barrel.  I'm thinking a burr, or more likely a boulder is in there around the transfer port.  I'm frustrated because this was supposed to have his 'full tune' and I feel like this issue is one of the basics.  Ugh.  I guess I'll have to call him back again tomorrow and complain.

The 705-2 that I have I never had an issue with the mags on it, it is a prototype and was sent with two mags, haven't had any problems with the gun other than it needed to be taken apart for a thorough cleaning along with mods that I've done to it.  After the cleaning and lubing the bolt action on it is like the difference between night and day.  All three of my Sentry's have been trouble free since I've gone through them, they all did work good to begin with and the mags on them were all good.  Matt that's the first I've seen of a magazine that was that far out of line, it might even be a combination of the mags and barrel alignment botth but the things that surprises me is it had a full tune to boot.  Mike Melick is a straight shooter when it comes to his products and I'm sure that you'll be successful getting your issues with that gun resolved.

his full tunes come with life time warranty,,, Mike will fix it,,,,most likely then barrel o-rings,,,,if it isnt a probe o-ring

Feeling more optimistic now.  Talked to Mike Melick today and he said just send it back and he'll take care of it.  No questions, no fuss.  I'll follow up here once I get it back just to close the loop in the same thread.

If that caused this rifle to be pellet picky,
I would believe that there is more problems than that going on,
as this rifle has 3 TP holes spaced 120* around the barrel, I do believe.........................
unless we are talking about a different AG..............

I see that Mike Melick has a $2 surprise with the first 50 rifle orders in July, no idea what it is but it probably won't be long because he's been selling like crazy recently.  One thing he hasn't been doing is using covid19 as an excuse for delayed shipping, it just don't happen when ordering from him.

Don as far as I know all the Sentry's had the 3 port barrels I haven't had my latest purchase from Scott apart but you can bet your @@@ that'll be one of the first things that I check when I take it apart.

It's possible for mike to make mistakes when doing tunes unfortunately.
I just got my 705 back from mike two days ago. I talked to him before it showed up, and he mentioned that I might have to re space the bbl when I get it back. He was having in issue with his mags fitting too tight.
No biggie right?
Upon inspection, I can see that the pellet probe is the culprit, not the bbl. spacing. It is a good millimeter or two out of the receiver block when in the cocked position
I will try to deal with it myself, cause I don't want to send it off for another 2 weeks. The summer around here doesn't last that long!
I trust that mike didnt really break or damage anything. But...... s&>/ happens.
