read a lot about problems loading pellets in the crosman 2100. I use my pellet pen to load mine and seems to work pretty good, aim the pen at the chamber with the least amount of angle relative to the bore that you can and pop one in. won,t put the pellet all the way in the chamber but usually ends up facing the right direction so all you have to do is close the bolt.

A pellet pen is a good solution.

I got use to loading one as a kid. A pellet is front heavy so usually, if you hold the gun muzzle facing toward the ground and pellet facing the correct direction, the pellet should just fall in. If not, just I just roll it around until it's corrected. If all fails, I'd find myself a small twig.

IMO the single biggest issue wth that gun

i use a straw hot glued to the loading port.

Agreed with but,
For me it is my, "Model One"
And why it isn't put back together yet.
Also why, I ordered a couple of tins of "Round Balls".
These do load easy and unlike what I've read about them,
They Fly well, and
FAR!
I've watched skirted pellets just drop at what should have been a hit,
(Watched, Love an Airgun, No Recoil or jumping around, just a release!)
then loaded a ball and watched it get there and GET THERE WELL!
Like all the way thru a "2012 DEX, S.E. Idaho, Phone Book.
From 50 yards out!!!

These arrived yesterday. Impressed with the size and build of them. I'll keep them in my shooting kit along with mags, lubes and filling probes.

I still want a 2100 but the SPA pumper is wanted even more. Only got room in the stable for 1 more pumper, so that's kinda how it goes, especially since I don't need extra equipment to load

Have you tried'em yet Avator? I could use one of those with my Rem AM77.

No sorry, not yet. I've been caught up in the PCP upgrades and such. I just can't see how they wouldn't be helpful. Not only for loading pellets but also for other bench tasks hindered by knuckle draggers like me.

Sorry it took so long..
I had the 2100, 2200 and a few more with the same loading port out Friday evening and the tweezers are definitely the ticket for loading these. I dump 20 or so pellets into the lid of the tin and snatch 'em out as needed with the tweezers. Not only does only is loading easier... picking the pellet up, placing it in the port and nudging into the end of the barrel is slicker than snot off a frog pond.

Just dig in the tin and drop them in..haha. I don't have a problem at all during my sessions. Sometimes a pellet will fall in backwards or "cliffhang off the chamber". I just turn the rifle over and it drops out. If you are already in the barrel, you can whack the butt of the rifle(muzzle facing the sky) and it almost always falls out. For the most part it's not a problem, I've been shooting allot with it lately. You can push the cocking lever back and forth with the rifle angled to make your pellets flip over in the chamber(if your pellet was to drop in, facing the wrong direction). Practicing a "DJ scratching turntables effect" to remedy the backwards pellet in chamber trick. It all just comes with your use of the rifle I guess. That's all I got for ya ✌️

LOL Rad... I did mention my size 13 ring finger right? Just reaching in the tin to grab one is challenging.
BTW... I've never experienced a DJ scratching a turntable in person... fortunately.
