True but if you look at Paul's shot string with the 1200psi regulator from AliExpress his is shooting even hotter than Hajimoto's gun, so not sure what is the reason there. Maybe the aliexpress regulators are a little higher output than they are advertised at?

I see, maybe 1400 is beyond the sweet spot causing too much back force on the valve poppet.

Good point, that is a possibility. If you watch again though doesn't the final pressure looked more like 1300psi? It still could be a little more than the hammer spring is optimized for.

id have to go back and look.. yes, the valve seems tuned for co2 range pressure, which makes perfect sense since at its core, its a co2 gun.. some minor tweeks , 40 fpe will be no issue with that gun.Be intereting to see what travis does with it.

I'm still confused. Can we just used the stock Gauntlet regulator and replaced it with the bigger compatible tank from AliExpress? So we bypass the 90 vs 180 degrees issue. Or the stock regulator will not fit to that bigger tank?

You totally could do that. Only if you want the velocity increase you'll have to do as Hajimoto did and add some spacers to your regulator to bump it up a bit. If you don't care about swapping tanks this would be a good option.

Sorry, no, I just meant if you are dissatisfied with your present velocity (some guys are getting less than 800fps with stock regulator and 14gr pellets) then using the same regulator won't help with that unless you bump up the regulator. Buying the aliexpress regulator for a few dollars is an easy way to increase the performance of your gun

H&N Sniper Magnum 18 gr:
13ci:  fps: 756, fpe:  23
23ci:  fps: 859, fpe:  29.5

Crosman Premier Domed 14.3 gr:
13ci:  fps: 837, fpe:  22
23ci:  fps: 929, fpe:  27

I don't know the actual output of either regulator, but the one from AliExpress is supposed to be 1200 psi and the stock regulator is supposed to be 1100 psi.  If the slow boat from China ever arrives with me tester parts, I'll know for sure!

Those new tank and regulators MUST have higher output than what I set my regulator to. Black Diesel noticed the same increase in performance with his bottle change.

You are absolutely correct guys, I have not made my follow up video which will speak to the fact that I misread the gauge. I was concentrating on the color bars which fooled me into think they ended at the 1500 line. And the results of the 1300PSI is as shown below gauge.
