Oh thanks you enabler I just ordered one.   Came to 105.57.   Did not really need it but will be a good back up scope.

They are pretty nice scopes for the money,  and side focus to boot.   I've used the regular sized version a bit big not this compact model.  Curious how it performs.

UTG makes a very serviceable scope indeed.  Personally I prefer the etched glass reticle, but have a couple with the wire reticle as well. The 3-12 version is my go-to scope for most knock around airgun use. I've both the wire reticle compact version and the etched glass reticle compact version.  Both very usable scopes.

I'd not call it expertise, merely experience.   

Some find the etched reticle too fine.  Some find the wire reticle too coarse.  I find they both have their place and use!
