Regulated Marauder Debuts in the Custom Shop

So I just got the email from Crosman pitching 20% off in the Custom Shop, and at the very bottom of the email, they announced the addition of the Marauder to the Custom Shop!

The regulator is about a $70 premium over the standard valve, though only currently available for .177 and .22. Looks like the MSRP on a regulated Mrod is $635.


What I find interesting is they claim Lothar Walther barrels will be available for the Mrod in January 2018 for an additional $61.21. That would bring the cost of a regulated, LW barreled Mrod to about $740 MSRP.

Yes, but the 20% off Custom Shop is only valid for 12/12-12/13 (today and tomorrow). Since the LW barrel option isn't available yet, the discounted price of a regulated Mrod with standard barrel looks like it's $507.52. Crosman is also saying there's a 5-8 week lead time on this.

Marauders rule!!!  Their potential power is always held back from the factory, but they can scream when you want them to with just a little TLC.

No, gen 1 and gen2 breeches attach differently and aren't interchangeable.   

I am curious to see someone buy one of these rifles and report the shot string performance.  If they don't make any changes to the hammer or valve, will just throwing in a reg really help it out a bunch?
