Pickup my Urban at local Walmart today and every thing in there include the fill probe. Lighter than the Guanlet which I received 4 days ago. The stock on the Gauntlet is nicer IMO, will mount the scopes on both and do some testing ,this is the best deal for $173 !  And will be the last gun I buy this year ! ( only 28 days untill next year) LOL

You must be my twin, you can't resist a bargain either.  My Gauntlet and Urban were delivered a couple of days ago, one day apart.  I now have two more guns than I have slots for in my gun vault.  Regards, Tom

I picked mine up Monday.   No resolution here so I order another gun already.

Will do that . The Gauntlet looks meaner, bigger but the accuracy is more important .

Just read your report on the Urban, that was very good ! me too I already have another one in mind the Marauder .25 that gonna be my next purchase but it will be a while ! Now I just need an electric pump for my 3 entry level PCP rifles.

Yes sir , originally I only intended to buy the Gauntlet but when I saw the price on this Urban I just have push the button otherwise I will feel guilty to myself !

Yeah I added mines to the cart at $220, ended up purchasing at $198... Walmart rollbacks just rolled me right out the bed and on the couch! 
Even at $220 it was a screaming deal, I feel like I stole it...

I did site to store and got it for $185 and change after taxes. It was at 172.95 when I purchased it. It will be here Thursday.

My Buc I thought was a deal to good to pass on at $277 a while ago and man was I wanting this even more than the 87$ Max I picked up on the last Wally deal... but just picked up a 04 Mustang and just could not swing it this time..

Today I shot my Urban with H&N FTT 14.66gr and the JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89 both are yielding impressive results at 20 yards. The JSB is very easy, smooth to load and H&N is harder to cock the rifle. I really prefer the JSB for the Urban. Mine came with 3000 psi in the gun and I got about 40 good shots ( loaded the magazine 4 times) from 3000 to 1000. Noise is louder as the psi dropping. Now I have to wait for the Air Venturi male quick connect valve from Pyramid Air ! In the mean time I will test my Gauntlet!

I have to be honest, while I like the Gauntlet and all the farkles it adds to the QB79 it almost suffers the too much like a vehicle. 

This Gamo/BSA deal from Walmart however, what an incredible little gun to reach for at a price I could never imagine...

As far as stock goes, to carry and offhand shoot I would take the Gamo and the AT44 Hatsan almost interchangeably though the lever on the Hatsan the bolt is serviceable on the Urban

I used the AV black foster on the brass Urban probe (top).  It's a smaller diameter than the Evanix/Hatsan probe below...

Thanks I ordered AV black foster from PA . I like the Urban already it's lighter and less bulkier than the Gauntlet.

Shot my Gauntlet today here is my initial report compare to urban: plastic stock is nicer than Urban, magazine easier to load, adjustable cheek rest, Gauntlet is heavier, longer, and louder, trigger on urban is better the Gauntlet trigger first stage is too long (factory trigger did not do any mod yet) power is about the same ( don't have the chronograph can't tell exactly FPS ) took me 221 pumps to get the Gauntlet from 0 to 3000 psi, the urban came with full tank 3000 psi and I have to wait for the AV quick disconnect foster valve therefor didn't do any pumping on the urban. The pressure gauge on the urban is bigger and easier to read.  It was a good workout for me ! 221 pumps with the Benjamin hand pump. The Maximus only took 60 pumps from 1000 to 2000 psi. Accuracy at 20 yards : I must say the Gauntlet is little bit better (Gauntlet is 10 compare to 9 for urban on the rating scale of 10 ) IMO.
Over all I am very happy with my purchases. But if I have to pick one for hunting I would bring the Urban with me it's lighter, quieter and shorter, the price of the urban is lower. Both guns are exceptional accurate and affordable. Will take both out to 40 yards and test some more
