Here's my last couple of hunts

On the 24th I started the day out by doing some metal detecting but it had been too long since the last charge on the batteries and my hunt was cut short due  to the batteries so right then I knew that I needed some more woods walking so I went home, got my gun and headed for the state land, it was late in the day by the time that I got there but I still managed to get me a red squirrel



On the 25th I started out at my favorite spot near the lake first but didn't see anything (very windy day) so I headed up to another favorite spot near the access road where it was a little calmer, I seen 2 fox squirrels and managed to get a shot at one of them.

Thanks Jerry !!! Yep and this is where a friend of mine often hunts as well, it's like the squirrels are plentiful in that area.  I talked with the land owner on the other side, he said if I shot something on the state side I could retrieve it, he just didn't want anyone hunting on his land (I wouldn't either if it was my land).
