Broken O-ring on Urban magazine

I noticed about a week ago the O-ring that retains the pellets was very nicked up and had small tears all around it and it would roll up inside some of the cylinders. It finally broke today. Still usable, but there's a certain way to hold it so they don't slide out. Luckily I emailed Gamo yesterday morning and within 15 minutes a new magazine was on its way to me. Outstanding customer service experience.

Glad to hear Gamo took care of you.  I emailed them after I received my Urban with the broken gauge, and still have not heard a peep out of them!  Fortunately, Walmart exchanged it and the new one is working perfectly!

Just curious, did you have to return the broken magazine, and is it possible to rebuild it if you found the right size O Ring?  At $50 a pop, it may be worth your time to see if it can be repaired, if Gamo didn't want it back...

I may have jumped the gun on the original post. Should be fixed now. I waited the 10 days, actually gave them 2 weeks as it was close to Thanksgiving. Replacement magazine did not show up. I replied back using the original email chain, never heard back. I sent a new email from their site, that was how I sent the original, and included the original thread. Still no response. I have not called them yet, but will be doing that in the next day or two, it hasn't been that high on my to-do list. I will say the magazine I have is still usuable, I just have to take care when loading it as the pellets will fall right through. If this would have been a spare that I bought at $50, I would be highly perturbed off. The red cylinder that holds the pellets also had a chunk break off. I'm hoping I just got a bad magazine.

It could probably be fixed with the right O-ring. They did not want it back. It could very well be coincidence or maybe not, but since using it without the tension from the O-ring, the pellets actually feed much better and I swear the accuracy has improved, even if only slightly. If they just didn't fall out, it would actually be an improvement

That sounds more like my experience with Gamo!  Sad they can't follow through on their word in a timely manner and without all the time wasted on follow-up e-mails and phone calls. 

I wonder if a different sized O-ring would work better, maybe one that doesn't put quite as much tension on the pellets yet still holds them in the magazine.  Since the Urban only comes with one magazine, I would still be upset, if they don't follow through with a replacement it will still cost you $50 if this one can't be repaired!

Yep, and meant to come back and post them but....

Anyway, these are the ones I took the day it finally broke.

Admittedly, I've only dealt with Crosman customer service twice, but talk about night and day difference! Gamo could really learn some things from them.

You don't need the AV Adapter, any female foster fitting should work.  Here is mine with a generic foster fitting attached.  It works great, no leaks and fills my Urban!  I pulled it off an extension hose I had bought from eBay, but you can probably find just the fitting on eBay, Amazon and AliExpress for the same or less than the cost of the AV Adapter.
