Took down the XL yesterday!?!

Ran up to MichaelM's(my son as most here know)an we took it down an done a tune too her.Really would say that taking one apart without the need of a compressor is friggen GREAT!!! We(HE???LOL) did all the normal stuff to her over all so really no need to go into that, about the only trouble we ran into was when we tried too button the ram alittle!?! Wow once we used Mr.Dave's trick an got the ram in it was TIGHT!!! an we spent about a 1/2 hr. tapping it back out, decided(well I did) that the *(&^ with the button an MJ removed it, after that slide in like butter. Would of been a nice touch but Hey the boy's work shop is a nice size shed an all but it was 95 out an "I" ran low on the WHO CARE's part .Was surprised to find very little china ditch oil inside of mine after hearing other's talk about their's(why I guess mine did not smoke long)? An we both liked the over all fit an finish of the inside,still it needed some TLC an a new seal,all though my factory seal was in good shape which surprised me(even keep it for a spare). I CAN say after the tune she is ALOT smoother an the shot cycle is friggen SWEET at a whooping 6 shot's LOL!!! I did mention it's HOT out right an I am getting alittle fat an dang sure old??? Most likely have to force myself outside today to resight her for the Fun Shoot tomorrow(An the old Lady is complaning about the grass/weed's needing cut) .

Looks like you are almost ready for your fun shoot Jay. Have fun and stay cool... I am having same isssues... Gettin fat and old... Hope it is cooler tomorrow for you and the fun shoot.

I had a day off today, which is dedicated to the yard. Mowing and wacking. Jay, tell the Mrs. I'll be chopping a few for you, just so you can assure her you've got it under control! Glad the tune went well, she'll probably tighten up as soon as the seal wears in a bit, but I'm sure you'll have a blast this weekend anyhow! At least you won't have to worry about seasoning the barrel? Pop a few rounds for me, maybe a couple of pop tops as well

Thank's Guy's!!! Unfortunately Mr. Gene It say's it will be 95 again,my temp. gauge on my bench read 99 just a few minute's ago when I was out sighting her back in an that is under a maple tree an a dang umbrella!?! I'd say next Fun shoot will be in at least the early fall in a couple of month's,should be much nicer weather then??? An for sure Bro.Paul we will have a Club House full of nice "ice cold beer" except it's all lite(OldMan's shooting Club LOL)but the SASS shoot will give us alot of entertainment. Bro Shawn sent you a P.M. no need too bore everyone with that info...P.S. Gave up on my yard, even the weed's are dying right now, I leave foot print's in the grass/weed's when I'm walking?
