Don't ... balls don't go into corners and there effect while "Crosshatching" is not really leveling the surface ... this a job better suited to FIXED flat stones such as a 3 shoe Brake hone.Just do forward of the cocking linkage slots and your good to go ... JMOScott
Don't forget to file, or grind off the metal part of the stone's shoe, on the end of the stone that will be against the chamber face. If you don't, the stone won't go all the way to the end of the cylinder, leaving a lip that will eventually ruin your piston seal.
