Gamo replacement rear site help

  Hello all,
    Im having issues with the side to side wobble of the half plastic half steel rear sight on my newly acquired ACCU177. I mainly purchased this to be a iron sight shooter for the moment at least. I searched the forums for this issue and found a guy that said he mounted a Traditions Muzzle loader rear site on a different model Gamo... silent Cat maybe...anyway the pictures he posted weren't available anymore.  And his description on how he mounted the rear sight was to vague for me to understand.  Im wondering if anyone else has replaced the plastic crappy rear sights on these guns with a better all metal rear sight from another manufacturer.

  Funny ive been emailing back and forth with someone from Gamo and there telling me there isnt anything other then the original half plastic piece of &^^& sight to replace mine with.  There apparently sending me a exact replacement of what ive got in hopes that its not as wobbly.  It looks like that micro-meter rear site has a metal leaf blade with a adjustable rear leaf notch setup.  I wonder if the base of the sight is metal or plastic. Cant see in the picture if it is or not.

  Gamo is telling me that Micro-metric sight  [Item# 621249854] thats in the picture is no longer available and the only one they have is the one that came on my ACCU177 thats 50% plastic and a P.O.S.  Really aggravating that Gamo doesn't have there website updated with the correct pictures for the few parts they do sell.  I guess I need to find a older Gamo all metal rear sight that has the elevation to work with the Accu177 higher front sight post. I could make a shim i suppose.
