FuzzyGrub, what modifications were required to use a Maximus tube with the Prod internals and breech? more air is always better especially when you want power and shot count. thanks in advance

If you want to use to 3Kpsi, will need to enlarge one hole for the valve retaining screws. Also, a slight mod need to Prod valve to use that larger screw head. I detailed the work in the following thread. Please be advised by the warning there. https://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=122634.0
question , how much is the p-rod breech from crosman ?? I gota ask one day , I call and forget about things I meant to check
Typical rookie mistake on that bottled PRod in the video, IMO.... There appears to be very little volume between the gauge block and the back of the tank block.... ie no real plenum.... This severely restricts the FPE you can get at any given regulator setpoint pressure.... Ideally, if you want 25 FPE, you should have about 25cc of plenum.... A 3" space between the front of the gauge block and the back of the tank block insert in a PRod would be about 21.4 cc, which once you include the volume inside the gauge block and valve would be pretty close.... If you want more power, you should leave even more tube length between for more volume.... about 1 cc of plenum per FPE is ideal....Bob
Today I finished the final PRod valve specs and now we can finally get to producing them. Took a lot of work but I’m done and SUPER happy with the outcome.
