.457 Texan Bobs Boat Tail HP vs cantaloupe

Had bob’s slug hollow pointed. It is crazy destructive! I need to resize them down to .454 where they shot best for accuracy (2” at 100yds). This was a hollow point test. Erik at HPmolds.com did the HP. Chronied at 870fps.

Very impressive expansion. I am curious how the accuracy compares to the original Flat Point and the new hollow point. I had Erik hollow point a RCBS 41 caliber mold for my extreme 408. The accuracy nowhere compares to the original Flat Point. He reduced the size of the cavity and increased accuracy some but nowhere close to original. Erik does amazing work but this just didn't work for me.
