im getting a aa s200 in 22. its the 12ft model with one piece stock. i already have a dive shop where im gonna get an 80cf tank for 80 bucks. he is gonna make up the hose for me when i bring the gun into him. and i already ordered a leapers 30mm 3x12x44 swat scope with the 80mm side wheel for it as well as a set of leapers 2 piece high mounts. i hope to be shooting it the week after next and cant wait. the reason i picked the aa is because i have a tx200 and there is no other springer made that can compare IMOP. i know the the s200 is made in czech but was told it is still made to the same high standards as the english guns. i also have my first chrony coming and will be interesting to compare all my guns.

It was still made in Europe so that's a good thing. Good luck with the S200!

Are amazingly good guns. Not power houses, but the Czechs know how to make a good barrel and the accuracy can be astounding. (Knocking on wood for this): Have a 2003 version that is still working like a champ...it did break a screw this year, but that was too easy a fix to really count.
Been almost a year since I tried to get real serious with it... will have to cure that.
Only 20 yards...but these CZ's can certainly shoot:

Had that .22 version for quite some time, one of the two-piece stock versions that can be easily adjusted (striker spring and transfer port), so it an be made to run well at anything from about 10 foot pounds to about 18. But it runs its best in the 12 to 15 foot pound range. Currently set to give about 14 foot pounds.
the .177's seem to be at their best in the 10 to 13 foot pound range, with the factory set 12 foot pound area being just about as good as you'll find. Uses a little less air than the .22 version per shot, so will see a bit longer shot count.
All 50 of those shots are on one fill. How picky you are about velocity variations really sets how many shots you'll find acceptable in a fill. Will go look up my last test session.
Found it.
Expect the .177 version would use a little less air per shot, so probably earn a longer shot count over the same velocity variations. Maybe 60 or 65 shots worth shooting?

i dont want to be ruined LOL. ill have it mid of next week and already set up with the scuba shop to get a tank and make me a hose. any advice yall can give me on filling act cause this is my first and dont want to mess it up. and i just put a 12ft spring in my tx and does shoot smoother than the qx4600 i had in it. i dont have any numbers yet cause im still trying to figure out my "dang" new chrony LOL. i do know that my old spring was doing about 720 in 22 but past owner said i was way to closeto the sensor. i was about 6 in away and he said a min of 18in. i had alot of errors but ill try tomorow again. want to see what my new spring does.

Biggest thing Tom when filling a PCP from a tank is to go SLOW when cracking the valve open(very slow) if you try an fill fast it can cause a large build up of heat(bad for seals and getting right pressure) in both the hose an tube on the gun{remember we are playing with 3 to 4 thousand pounds of air pressure}, just take it slow an always make sure to bleed the hose off before you try an disconnect. Have fun Bro. an keep us posted.

i called the scuba place yesterday and he will put an inline pressure guage and a bleed off valve on the hose. he is doing research on pcp guns to better understand them.

my gun shipped yesterday(YEE HAW!!!)so i should have it mid week. i just talked to the fella i got it from and he told me the sweet spot as far as pressure goes for it. 160-120 bar good for 50 or so shots. thats great for a small res. and it really likes the wally cphp pellets so another plus for me. i got the scope fri and the "dang" illum didnt work so its getting exchanged
