Benjamin Trail NP.....Bipod placement questions.......

Well, I have the GRT trigger installed, Im getting some rounds in.......Right now Im shooting a 2" group at 35yds, not great but im working on it. Id like to pick up a BI-Pod, but not sure which would be a good fit......Im also not sure if the Universal barrel clamp ones will fit.

I have no problem drilling into the synthetic stock of my Trail NP to retro fit something...Im looking for ideas and suggestions I guess......

Oh yeah, heres a couple pics of the Trail with her hunting clothes on LOL......(Loving the gold trigger by the way, money well spent)

I just bought the Benjamin Trail NP XL, .25 cal, and at the same time purchased a Dragon Claw bipod because I'd heard it was great.  Unfortunately, most of the barrel is too wide for it to clamp on.  The only narrow place is near the stock, and placing the bipod there cramps the cocking motion.  Have you heard anyone's ideas on handling this problem?

this is a tough one. as with break barrels, you must leave room for the barrel to cock. i found a very in expenstve bipod that simply clamps on to the barrel when needed. is a nylon plastic, and fits in my pocket when not in use.found them at a gun show, lost the package so i forget who made it.the good piont in this one is it fits all of my barrels. doun side is its not fixed to the rifle. but it will slide back and forth to allow cocking with out removal.

Try the UTG low profile dragon claw clamp on barrel bi-pod at pyramid air.com ...works well on many airguns...Jorge

Just get a shooting stick / mono-pod.

Thanks alot for the quick response! Very helpful comments.  I do love the shooting stick/mono pod--I was surprised at how great it works!  For sitting at a table, plinking with my kids, though, I found another suggestion:

will allow me to attach a weaver-style-mounted bipod further down the end of the barrel, I believe. I'll use my Dragon Claw with my Ruger 10/22, shooting Colibri powderless shells for plinking and get a different one for my Benjamin Trail NP XL.  Thanks again for all the great suggestions!

That's what I was thinking, a barrel mount quad rail or tri rail for a shotgun...I have my trail NP on order, does anyond know the exact O.D. of the barrel?  I'm looking to mount a flashlight and bi-pod on mine.

My .25 caliber Benjamin Trail NP XL has an O.D. of 7/8 of an inch.
