Mod on Crosman 1720T today

I bought these parts for a 2260 PCP mod. But while i am waiting for parts to complete it which will be several weeks i decided to use them on my 1720T.

So a 1720 drops right into a 2260 stock and Marauder trigger group?  Did you have to do any mods to make it work?

That is without a doubt one of the most bad-arse wood-stock carbines I have seen.

While waiting for OP (Dan) for more details, this is what I know about the subject:

- The Gen 1 Mrod/challenger trigger assy will work on 1720T/Prod.  It may need to be shimmed to prevent excessive sear drag.  Both of the ones I've done required shimming.

- The 2260 stock is same as disco minus gauge hole, so stock lug should be it right place.

- Gauge hole would need to be drilled, or go regulated without a gauge block.  Disco stock does not align, gauge in different location. 

- Stock might need some minor inletting to fit trigger assy/guard.  DIYable

Thanks I used a 2260 stock, Challenger Trigger & Trigger guard a spacer from Airgun Lab, the bolts from the 2260 work i removed the gauge and used a plug i planned to replace plug with Lane regulator. I had to do a very small amount of wood removal at front of trigger with a pocket knife for the most part a very simple mod. anyone can do it no problem.

I did the same but, kept the gauge.  Just a target shooter.  Low power & lots of shots.

The LDC makes it look more "natural" to me.

Looks good i like the LDC i was going to do that also but i sold mine yesterday. Decided to go back to Spring gun self contained etc. I will prob order a new HW77k in .177 next week.
