13xx Grip/stock screws

I just dug a junkyard 1322 out of my pile and cannot find the screws that attach the stock to the grip.

Do any of you know the size?

My 13xx grip frames are threaded 6-32 (for grips to grip frame). Don't use the oem but 6-32 x 1/2" oval work very well.

I believe I remember reading somewhere that the screws used to hold the cover over a standard wall mounted 120v light switch like in your house is the correct size for grip screws.
Don't remember where I read it, but seem to think that's what was stated.

I think you are correct. I used the long screw that is used to hold something in a switch or plug fixture, it goes in one side and out the other. So it only holds from one side.

It makes me think the threads are tapered, because it went completely through without disturbing the threads on the other side.

Both switches and plugs typically use 6X32 machine screws, so yes a faceplate fastening screw would work well. What you are looking for is a 6X32 screw with a countersunk head that is around 1/2" long. I got my Stainless 6X32's at Home Depot.

Oval refers to the profile of the head... like flat or rounded. And as others have mentioned, the screws some for electrical face plates are 6-32 x 1/2" oval

Gotcha! I was wondering if you were talking about the odd screws that have the threads shaved off on two sides, or some other strange thing.

I'll hit up the hardware this week, and hopefully be able to show off my junkyard 13xx later this week.
