Just recieved my new Gamo Whisper Fusion and it came with a scope. Love the gun, hate the scope so far and hope I am just over looking something. Cross Hairs are fuzzy, so is the target for that matter, and I cannot find a way to focus the Cross Hair. The manual that came with it does not appear to match my scope. In the manual shows 3 different configurations and all show Standard Eyeball focus.
I do have have a Zoom and Distance Ring, but how do I focus the dang thing. Should be a way to focus Cross Hairs, and then use Distance ring to focus target right?

The ocular is the one to focus the reticle. Some that I have used are very hard to move the first time. It 's as tbough they used an impact driver to install it. Try just a little more force.

WOW!
It was more then hard. I had to remove the scope from the gun. I put so much torque on it I thought I would damage it. It was to the point to put any more torque would have required clamping and wrenches. I gave it one last try bare handed, and it finally released.
Even after I got it broke loose I almost gave up because I unscrewed it a lot and would not come into focus. So I decided to start at the far end unscrewed and work my way back. Crystal clear now
Thank You

Food for thought: Using a gas piston air rifle creates lots of recoil, rearward and forward, loosening everything attached, especially the scope.
The ocular was tightened to prevent it from moving out of adjustment, so now make sure to check it often as it will work loose and move. A very small dab of blue loctite could be a cure. A tiny drip on the end of a pin is almost
toooo
much, so be very careful as it could wind up stuck again.
Also keep a check on the stock screws, as they work loose often, also, which will effect accuracy. A small
drop
of blue loctite can cure this problem also.
