The trigger guard screw from original stock is too long for the Blaster stock...had to shim it with small washers so it would tighten up.

From the pictures I have seen of this setup, it appears to have the same issues as Crosman's carbine stock meaning the cheek piece is going to be way to low to use a scope,  is this the case?

I put a NCStar compact scope on mine and didn't feel awkward at all. I think it's personal preference.

here's a comparison of the 2 stocks... Blaster stock lined up on top of a Crosman stock.  The Blaster is a little higher than the Crosman (discounting my custom cheek-piece) and has a shorter LOP.





I have tried a few solutions for a better cheek weld on the Crosman stock when using scopes and will probably incorporate my homemade HDPE cheek-piece idea on the Blaster.

I read in another post you bought/received an extra barrel...I didn't see the option on mrodair to purchase them.  Is a carbine length bbl available separately for the CP1?

What I got turned out to be a complete CP-2 set. I don't think the barrels are available separately yet. I know Mike is working on a lot of stuff. China won't/can't send barrels or stocks separately to the US because they are considered fire arm components. An importer can get them as part of a larger "air gun" order but there are hurdles to jump to make it happen. This leaves an importer with the only option of breaking up complete guns to sell a barrel until those hurdles are overcome. The situation will undoubtedly improve as more of these guns find their way to the US. And, as I said, more aftermarket "mod" parts are inevitable.

You are quite correct.

Hard to stock parts when the factory will send them for wholesale, but this does provide excellent customer support.

Except the barrels, ect.

I am placing another order for airguns, and it will include the carbine barrel with the LDC.

They fit the varmint, Plinkster and cp-1.

The barrel, is considered under their law as the "firearm" so it must come thru the BATF/customs to us.

Price is what makes them worth the hassle.

We will be able to provide the barrel, with the latest really quiet LDC for a lower price than most get for the LDC alone.

A bit of wait, but got em coming.

Also some valves, barrel bands and trigger mods.

May break a few cp2 sets apart when I get confirmation on the shipping date for these, so I won't get stuck with a pile of parts.

I put a UTG 3-9x32 Adjustable Objective "Bugbuster" scope on and found that the Blaster stock didn't provide a good cheek weld for me.  I used some HDPE plastic and made up a removable riser so I can add it when scoped and remove it when using the iron sights.

I really like the Bug Buster I've got one on my Prod.  I'm now getting spoiled on the tactical BSA that I have on my Dominator, that side focus is killer.

I don't know if it's my torn rotator cuff or what but, I don't have an issue with the check weld resting lower on my face. I will put some lower rings on the CP-2 when the second NCStar compact scope is delivered. In this configuration, I don't plan to stretch these guns out much past 15yds. I have several other guns for that purpose.

I really like the Bug Buster I've got one on my Prod.  I'm now getting spoiled on the tactical BSA that I have on my Dominator, that side focus is killer.

I shoot 5m and 10m in my basement and when shooting benchrest comps (on another forum with Crosman 1701P and 1720T) it's nice that the Bugbuster is capable of parallax adjustment down to 3 yards to cover 5M.  I've got a handful of them using them on pellet pistols and rifles and .22 LR rifles.  At 10M I put a Mueller 8-32x44 Side Focus on.
