.22 here as well but I have not even shot her yet. My Mrodair rifles both the Varm and the Dom cannot hold air more than a week. The Dom came half filled a week later she is empty, same with the Varm. The MKII holds air but shot count is low so no doubt the reg needs some adjusting. I will need at some point to buy a point and shoot gun. What I mean by that is a gun I can buy and use out of the box at least for a few tins of pellets before it needs something. The Condor is point and shoot but too much power at the moment for backyard or basement range and with work be so busy that is the only place I have time to shoot.

Always on target, always a joy, not uber-expensive. Not sure of the exchange rate lately, but again, I got mine from Krale for just a bit over $900 everything included. It is worth $1200 retail, in my opinion, but even at $1000 or $1050 is still a bargain. These SPAs are fun guns, for sure, but dependable? Well, they can be, but when? Ok, so back on topic, my .25 Dom arrived a short while ago, and she is also half full, but seems to be holding air, ha ha! We'll see, lol..
Mista M.Yes, the .257 is a PCP. A custom from Dyotat100 and bbl. from R&L Airguns. I had .257 Weatherby's for years, and fell in love with the Calibre. A lot to like in the .257, so thought I would try it in an AG. It is a true long range piece, just as the .257's are in a PB.! Nothing against anyone who does use pain med's. I've just been deathly afraid of narcotics my entire live. Surgery went very well. In fact, Dr.'s haven't seen such a fast recovery before. Stoked for sure. Before surgery, I had lost the ability to walk. Pain was severe, but I refused to take pain killers. Dr's prescribed meds for after surgery, saying there was NO Way I would be able to get by without them. Again they are shocked, as I did not pick them up. I will NOT take Dope. Never have, never will. I've seen far too much tragedy from it.Seems to me, it is better to be in pain, than a Junkie in pain. LOL!!!Knife
Here is a shot string from a 250bar fill, I can see from this latest string that my regulator has definitely done some settling in since the out of the box chrony test.I would have done this string with the pellets that I did my original string with but don't want to use them up. I'm sure that it would have made a little bit of difference in the results.
Wayne,I just wanted to confirm that you have the non-bottled Dominator. Not the MKII. Is that correct?

I wanted to mention too that I really like the way you lay things out with the pic of the gun and string of shots and pics of the fill pressure before and after. That is sweet!

Looking good, Wayne! That's a lotta on-reg shots, waaay more than I need, so hopefully there will be a ton of power to be had if I tune for 2-3 mags on reg, ya know?Anybody else have a .25? At first glance, it looks like everybody else got a .22, but I would love to have some numbers to compare head to head with mine..UPS says she's on the truck, sooo, soon enough, I'll be playing a bit o' hooky and see what's in da box!
Quote from: shultz on September 11, 2017, 02:21:37 AMTom,I haven't seen just how far my .22 can be pushed yet. I was getting over 900fps with 14.3 out of the box. I backed it off to about 800. More back yard friendly, and I don't need a ton of fps for the 25yds or less I shoot at in my back yard...Yes, I've adjusted the reg and had it completely apart since I had an o ring fail already.Several threads you can read thru for pro and cons. I will say mine shoots straight and I like the side lever cocking and mags. I however will not be buying another in .177 like I originally planned...John I think I'm going to continue using mine at 30fpe for the time being, I pretty much got plans to make my Mrod into a gun that's capable of shooting slugs with that new ART/Sikes valve coming soon. I think I'm going to sit back, enjoy my Dominator and let everyone else start modifying theirs first, then I'll go from there.

Tom so far I've been very lucky with SPA stuff, no leakers yet but I did break the bolt handle on my Varmint but it's fixed good now. I'd still like to make a better handle for it though. I need one like a Crosman but with more threads. Right now its a stubby I made from the broken one with bigger threads. I'm getting use to carrying the Dominator now, I made the deep woods squirrel patch(that's what I'm branding it) yesterday for opening day squirrel. I shot a nice fox squirrel at 45 yards up a tree about 30 feet. It was a shot where the squirrel was facing down but had it's head facing straight at me. I was trying to go for a head shot but leaning against a tree isn't the steadiest in the world and I hit her in the throat and it took her vitals out at that angle. So far I'm really pleased with my Dominator, it's at the top of the fun list right now.

Seems to be hitting over 40 fpe, at first glance. Totally turns any pellet into a mushroom at that power, lol..I love the HW110, it is all that, and a bag a chips!
