Got my Kral Jumbo today and have some initial thoughts .Pro:- Accurate (BB size groups @ 13 yards-> CPUM).- Velocity adjuster works nicely, very sensitive ....... a little goes a long way. - Good Value for the $$ ..... $600.- Nice weight, but could be lighter.- Stock made of Turkish Walnut (1/4 very nice, the rest OK). Cons: - Looks like it had previously been returned to PA . - Most accessories close to junk quality (Case, Bi-pod clip, Bi-pod itself & single shot magazine).- Fit & finish in-line with Hatsan (not great - not bad either); cocking lever pretty stiff, but not sloppy.- Barrel shroud pretty junky, I removed (no set-screw) and added one of my threaded LDCs.- Trigger not great. First stage very long, but you can adjust out. Second stage can't be lightened enough for my taste - won't cock if you go in too far. Not terrible though.- Stock's butt a little short, in-letting below average, overall look - Not a Micelli . - Magazines pretty cheap ........, but work. Hatsan or BSA are better, but the Kral has 14 shots! - Hammer strike must be substantial as I can only hear the ping of the valve strike when firing.- Not as efficient as I thought; went through 75 bar pretty fast.- Can't be regulated.Unfortunately, the Con's outweigh the Pro's 2 to 1.
Thank you for the honest review. I was looking at the and the Artemis M16 as a cheap re-entry in to the PCP world to use with my cheap hand pump. I kind of figured the quality of this gun might be lacking. We'll see what people think of the M16...
Do you mind posting a pic of the sear if you pull it out? I'm sure it has the same snag sear that the PB uses and I have a redesigned sear that drops the final break 40-50%.
