 it was 369.00 and there was only three left after I bought one,i just went to that item and there aren't any left...I got mine for well under 200.00 with those points I used.i couldn't get a link posted sorry.so if the e-bay compressor comes I will have two for under 379.00...I kinda trust the amazon transaction a little more than the e-bay transaction...chenglong9842 is the e-bay seller that accepted the 201.81 offer...

OK...So I still haven't heard from the Ebay vendor in regard to the $225.00 purchase I made on the compressor. I had placed a bid on one, on another listing from the same vendor, but he had accepted my "best Offer" for $225.00 before the other auction had ended. Now, I get a message today "2nd chance offer" to purchase one for $210.00 from the same vendor.  I am just glad I used Pay-pal so if this all falls through.  But it is apparent that they are willing to part with these for as low as $210.00, on paper anyway This vender is "chenglong9842" If anyone besides Mike receives one of these let us know.

It seems they may be testing the waters some the same as all who have given offers for them. Seeing just what the market will take for quick sales.

Of course we need to see some of the many bought shipping very soon. Hope everyone gets a tracking number shortly.

I was just at Home Depot and they have 100% Synthetic, Non-Detergent, compressor oil by Husky for around $8.00.  They have the Synthetic blend, which is not as good for around $6.00. I've got a tracking number also, but the carrier is listed as epacket!  Not a good sign...  I use an app called 17TRACK on my iPhone to track international shipments.

I also use TrackItOnLine and it lets ou link to the eBay purchase and enter the number of days until a dispute is files.

Same here...hard to squeeze a 50lb item into an epacket.... The other similar eBay compressors selling for +/- $150 show a shipping charge of $100 to $150.

I sent the seller a message stating I was confused because it says carrier is ePacket and his own listing stated items over 2KG would ship FedEx/UPS/DHL, and the compressor weighed approximately 22KG, not 2KG!  I asked if this was a mistake.  It will be interesting to hear how he dances around that one!

I'm also thinking of contacting eBay on Tuesday just to give them a heads up they may be getting hit with approximately 44 disputes for the 44 compressors eBay says he's sold!  They may want to freeze the funds now so they have it on hand to process all these refunds!

I received a tracking number as well and it shows "epacket" with the tracking number not coming back to any carrier. May not be a bad idea to contact eBay. They could maybe put a hold on the funds and if the compressor show up then release it. Hopefully this whole thing is just a communication error and it will all work out. I'm not holding my breath on that one..usually if it's too good to be true it is...

I'm going to give him till Tuesday to respond to my question about the carrier used.  If I have not heard back, or feel he's eluding the question, I'll contact eBay and let them know what's going on.  I have been researching their policies and procedures so I can make a good case that this seller is not in compliance.  They seem to have a very low tolerance for non-compliant sellers, so hopefully, that will get their attention.

I just received a response from the seller on my question about a 50 lbs compressor being sent via epacket.  He says they have "cooperation with epacket recently, so he send to me by epacket". Sounds like a load from the pasture to me! 

I have reached out to our local post office and have a guy who is going to look into it for me.  Unfortunately, until the item is actually in the possession of the carrier, there's not much he can do or find out about the package that's being sent.  He sounded like he was genuinely interested in helping, so maybe he'll be able to determine dimensions and weight once it's in the possession of epacket.  I'll keep you guys posted.
