I guess cost is subjective....I don consider UTG cheep....
Maybe it was this CV life scope you are thinking of... There is a thread here on it getting impressive results on GTA. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Optics-Hunting-Rifle-Scope-6-24x50-AOE-Red-Green-Illuminated-Gun-scopes-Mounts/201497450317?hash=item2eea2f174d%3Ag%3AnjkAAOSwi8VZQI3h
Cheap is relative .....I have bought a NEWEER brand scope ~$60 with side wheel AO and illuminated reticle. Even has an etched reticle! Honestly did NOT think it would make it on a springer. Well, it still holds perfect zero on a springer after 500 shots. (and a few knocks). I am actually thrilled, it has held up better? than some of my "cheaper" UTG/Leaper scopes (~$130)Maybe I got lucky, but that brand manufactures camera and photo equipment so maybe they know what they are doing
Is NEWEER on amazon? I might have to check them out
