Cp 4x16 40 remove turret ?

I'm a complete newb to air guns. Have a new to me marauder .25 with th center point scope. Going to zero at 27 yards. How do I remove the turret to read back to zero once done? Side screws in thread or the funny ones on top?

On some scopes you can't reset the turrets.
I don't know about the center point scope, but I bet others will chime in.

Check the manual.  It will tell how to do it, and if you can do it.

On that style, try loosening the slotted screws on the dial.

Got one of those, get a set of screwdrivers for glasses, and loosen the top screw in your pic above. There may be another on the opposite side too. Can't remember
