FWB300 Dovetail Size?

Thanks for looking. I have just kept an eye out for an original rear sight to show up on the bay.  My front sight is the one that looks to be riveted on.

The front sight is not riveted. It is held on with a simple stout pin that has a tapered flat surface on one side.

To remove the sight, look at each end of that pin, one will be full round, but the other will have a small gap on one side--the edge of the tapered flat. Tap that end to remove the pin, the sight slips right off. Be sure you get the pin turned the same way when re-installing though, or the sight will lean to one side about 10 degrees!

Some guns have the pin on the bottom, others on the top. The Universal models have two different-height front sights that mount on a dovetail, as already described.

Well of course you do... you know why?
Because Today I sighted in a scope on my 300S...
