FWB 300S, What range is it best at?

On the 7th shot I cried when the Devils Nectar ran out on the low hit.

I thought I had subscribed to his channel when my gun had a cameo and I got an honorable mention.

Well the gun sold by auction.  Supposedly rebuilt and also a refinished stock that had been reinforced what ever that meant.  No rear sight and the top of the chamber and receiver area had no bluing left and had very light rust patina.  I ran it to $290 and came up 2nd best.  Sold for $295.

To that end:

Someone mentioned the chat room TargetTalk.  It is a broad ranging site for rifle and pistol shooters of all kinds who do competitive shooting up to Olympic / National Match quality.  I went to the site, joined and took a look at their classified section.  Their "low-end" castoffs look pretty cool to me!!!   Several FWB 300's have been through the site in the last year.  They seem to sell quick but I saw some with sights and goodies in the $500 range.  By the way, the FWB300SU with all the goodies seems to be about $1000.  The FWB300S seems the $500 range.  Lots of discussion of sights, accessories, pellets, etc.

Here's a round I shot the other morning with my FWB 300 at 25 yards. They're not just 10 meter shooters. Shot a round yesterday with my FWB 300 SU that was even better.

Thanks Scott. The JSB 7.87 and the JSB 7.33 are by far the best shooting pellets in all my FWB 300's. Although there a couple others that shoot pretty good, the two mentioned are so good that's all I'll ever buy from now on.

I presently have 12 tins of each in stock so I might be OK for awhile. lol

By the way, that's the target I use 99% of the time and I shoot at least four times a week, ( weather permitting ). I too like shooting the 125 shot round. I takes me about an hour and a half to shoot a complete round.

For those that might not know,that's the target posted on Joes site ( Air Tanks For Sale ) , I print them out 50 at a time on card stock.

Mine prefers the H&N Rifle Match Finale. 8.18gr.  4.50mm head.

One hole groups all day when I do my job.

The 7.33 domed "RS" is the pellet I'm shooting, should have been more specific. Tough getting old and senile.

Agree with Smokin Joe. I have several different branded WARBIRDS. THE FWB300S   
Shoots the hardest and easy 30 yard bird kills. 

I'm shooting the JSB 7.87 Out of all of these guns. 
Daisy 300s
Beeman 400
Diana 75U
Walther LGV SPEZIAL
Walther LGV Beech UIT
FWB601SSP

NO issues with any of these at 30 yards on &^^& birds and paper.
