Mine got left cocked for weeks on end , when I borrowed it to my mother. Settled it in nice, not that is the prefered method of tunning , I got lucky , so far
That sounds great, but I have to ask, are the internals still stock from buying it,or did you do a lube tune or anything? Perhaps I worry too much. Certainly sounds like it's shooting good! By the way what are you running for a scope? Looks great with that paint.

It was my first springer and I didn't want to open it up for fear I'd break it. As for now I don't see a need. The scope is a Simmons 22Mag 3-9x/32mm A/O

Figures as soon as I start catching up to Hoosier Dadddy I'd break it Have you had a chance to try your .22 barrel?

Mine literally sounds like muffled "Twoink" deadened in plastic.. Not a "Twang"
