Connecting my CO2 cylinder to the CO2 bottle problems.

Can someone tell me what adapter I need to connect the FWB CO2 cylinder adapter, to my CO2 bottle.

It won't screw directly on cause of the filter in it, so I got a 1/2" to 1/2" fitting and a threaded brass that the adapter will screw into, then the other end into the adapter.

But when I try to put it into the bottle, it'll start for a turn or do, then stop. I went to 6 or 7 different places and nobody could give me an answer for what I need.

Just a hunch, but it sounds as though one is BSPP, the other NPT. One is straight, the other, tapered.
