Yeah, only when I check any new posts and something has been posted I check this gate.
Would be most interesting to see what you have hidden inside that valve of yours.

Balancer piston and small air passage to control the flow in and out, bigger than usual valve for the caliber?
And you wonder how it closes so fast?

Alright, here's my thoughts. This IS a research and engineering thread, for a new product.
If this is an obscure location, ask yourself why that is. Personally, I say NO area on this forum is obscure unless you let it be. Folks SHOULD use the "Show unread posts since last visit" option. That would bring ANY new post to their attention. They can skim the topics and if it doesn't get their interest, they move on.
But THIS gate will only be dead if YOU let it.
I'm being pounded by a variety of members. Everyone has an opinion where it belongs or doesn't belong at all. Yep, I've listened to all of them. I moved it here because I felt it is a research and engineering topic. I STILL believe that. But I'm moving it one more time. I'm moving it to Air Rifle Technologies as requested and advised. Lloyd, please do not take offense that I did not relocate it to your gate, which it deserves to be also. It is a fantastic topic in my opinion and I'm DARNED proud to have the thread here on GTA Forums. But it's STILL an engineering-development project.
And YOU guys are the ones that make any area on this forum more exciting or noticeable than the next.

Sounds like you were put between a rock and a hard place my friend. I think this is probably the best location for this thread until I can get product into the hands of the public then we can all share the information openly. Until then thank you and Ill do my best to update and share as much as possible.

I definitely have no complaints about the location of this thread on the GTA.  I am sure there are plenty of opinions on where it belongs, so I will just accept the judgement of the admin.  They are the ones who have to make the tough calls, i.e., the "can't win" calls.

Travis, You've really had your nose to the grindstone on figuring out the idiosyncrasies of this valve.  Like Motorhead alluded to back in post #72, this business of collecting data and trying different combinations is extremely time consuming... in time, ammo, and air..... plus keeping you from doing other airgun tasks.  A lot of dead ends, but learning something all the time.  This valve is pretty unique and it will be interesting to what niche it fills for PCP's.

I've finally had time to sit down with the disassembled valve in hand and talk to Travis about it, it's going to be a game changer to say the least. We'll try to get this rolling quickly and into the hands of a lucky few of you for testing asap!

Sounds really good.  I don't remember if it was mentioned or not as there are 6 pages, what order are the valves going to be released?  I'm thinking the Marauder will be first, is the Discovery to follow or will there be others before that?

I apoligize in advance for being ignorant but, being new to PCP's and owning a Discovery .22, just what do you
mean by "disco/prod".

That said, I will be happy to wait for the new valve when it is available to us novices.
