stock 1322 chrony data

Got a new 1322, took some chrony data (5 shot sets CPHP's 14.4gn) as stock, nothing earth shattering, just to add to the database...

Tube was warming up towards the end of the session so that may have influenced numbers a bit.
Happy with the results...highest I got was 499.1....better than Crosman's spec of 460....almost broke 500

That is a "hot" 1322 - I would say the internals are as good as it gets!

Yes, luck is good every once in a while (especially since this was a $38 special from Amazon ).
I just plan to do the usual trigger clean up and softening

wow, i see that they may be more 440 to 445 fps guns with 10 pumps and CP 14.3s... lucky dog!

Jeepers that's great, I wonder if they've imp them somehow or you really got lucky?! I thought mine was pretty good getting 450-460fps out of the box!

It's much easier to gain more energy from a heavier projectile than from more projectile speed.
Speed is somehow more limited by losses like friction e.g.
But energy is not everything - if a guy bumps into you with 200 lbs and 2 feet/s you also get an impact energy of about 16 joules / 12 foot lbs (if I've calculated correctly) but usually not so much penetration.
