My D350/.177 arrived yesterday. T 05, Mfg date of 07 07...July 2007 I presume? It came in perfect condition, well packed and double boxed. My only complaint is that it had many fingerprints and smudges on the bluing which I attribute to the test firing they did. Hey guys, it only takes a few seconds to wipe it down with a Ballistol rag....  .  Shot cycle is a bit harsh, which I hope will settle down with break-in.
Just using open sights so far, and they are pretty tricky to use...very small post & "V" for these old eyes. Shooting the CPM 10.5 brown box pellets at a consistent 920 FPS for +/- 20 FPE.

Happy with the purchase so far, I just wonder where they found a cache of 10 year old Dianas....

Congrats!  Yes July 2007, so it's exactly 10 years old.

My first 350 was built in 10/06 that I bought in May 2007.  I can't believe AoA has 10yr old Dianas in stock.

Power is right on, so you know the piston and spring are good.  How is the ES and SD on the Chrono?

350's can greatly benefit from a lube job.  They ship pretty dry.  I had my 350 .177 lubed (only) and it made a difference in smoothness of the cycle and also accuracy.  Mine is down to 920's now with the 9.3gr RWS Supermag's (most accurate) and 890fps with the 10.5's, so I am pretty sure the spring is on its way out but it has settled on that power for a couple of years now.  It used to be about what you 're getting.  It's still fairly accurate with open sights.  It's the only springer (that and the NPSS) I have not had pro-tuned yet, so it's not going to get a scope until it is well tuned.  I never had a scope fail from any of my tuned spring guns.  Untuned... well that's a different story

Yes, thank you Victor.  I have only been on the GTA for 10 years and almost bought a 350 from AoA in Dec. 2006   Seriously though there was a possibility it was sitting in some other warehouse or wholesale distributor for several years and AoA got a good deal on them - recently.  Hopefully from what John just reported on his 10yr old NEW 350 he just received, it sounds like his was sitting in AoA's "low humidity" storage in Arizona all this time, so no rust or bluing damage.  Good thing he didn't purchase from an East coast or Florida vendor

Hi Harry, the last 10 shot string was an average of 920.2 FPS, 26.74 ES, 7.4 SD....high 930.x, low 903.x, but most grouped around 920.

No smoke or diesel smell, I'll do an external lube and a few drops of RWS chamber oil.

along time ago I bought a Diana 48 T01 from AOA the gun was perfect but the box was rotting away. IIRC the cost was less than $200.

Update: After about 150-200 shots the D350 is settling in and loosening up. Now shooting the Brown Box CPM 10.5's at 949.6 avg FPS, 20.9 ES, 7.8 SD for 21 FPE. I'd like the ES & SD to tighten up, we'll see after a few hundred more shots. Also tired the H&N Medium Snipers, they group pretty tight but about an inch higher than the CPM's, didn't adjust the scope as I'll stick with the CPM's.

Looks like the party is over...back to $378 in both .177 & .22. I'm guessing they went thru all the older T05's and are now selling current T06's.

It's a beast!  More powerful than a 48 .22.  The main purpose of the 350 .177 is really to put down pests and medium-sized game.

I told you power will go up as you break it in   My 350 .22 was doing 825-830fps at first with 14.3gr brown box CP's, but after 200-250 shots it was averaging 850fps. 
My 350 .177 only does about 880-890fps with 10.5gr but I mostly shoot it with RWS SuperMag 9.3gr in the 920's which is the most accurate pellet I have tried so far.  I think the previous owner changed the spring to reduce power a little IIRC, but I have to dig up the old emails.  Either that or my spring is going, but velocities remain steady as is the POI.  The ES on mine is about 13-14fps because I remember some 910's  and a few 929's almost hitting 930 about 2yrs ago the last type I put it through the Chrono.  But it's mostly in the 920-927 range.  I don't remember the SD exactly but I think it was around 6fps.
