You should also degrease both the dove tail rail and the Williams peep sight and use the blue locktite.That stuff is so good it should be included with every air rifle purchase. LOL.

I stumbled across Locktite 380 "Black Max" super glue It's a black color rubber impregnated Super Glue that is friggin AWESOME for sticking two black pieces of metal together. GRAINGER LINK
I do need to put a little locktite on the elevation screw, though. I notice it starts to back out after several shots. It would be nice to have it locked in.

Push a button and a motor cocks the gun, was a marketing failure in the 1990s.
