jkhan .22 and 30 grain fp water jug test

Finally got a chance to test the fp 30grain bbt through water jugs today. I tested the hp bbt and they doubled in size in the first water jug. These went through 3 water jugs at 25 yards set at 947 fps...59.63 ft lbs. That's pretty good penetration for a pure lead bullet, .. I think. I did not size these down as I have the others, I just grabbed one, single loaded and shot. I have a sizing die of .216, and they do very well accuracy wise and speed wise at that size in the lw chocked barrel.

Would love to see targets at different ranges. It very unusual to get good accuracy out of a choked barrel and slugs. It is a VERY happy day when you can find a bullet and choked barrel that will play well together.
I assume you meant a choked barrel, rather than a chocked barrel. unless you are trying to keep it from rolling off the bench. LOL!!!

Lol!! Choked for sure. Here are a couple of post I did on these earlier. I need to shoot out past 50 to 75-100 yards to really get a feel for them, but I have precious little time right now.

I also shoot the 51 grain bbt out of my ace .25 and have gotten 1 inch groups of 5 shots at 100 yards. I reall love the bbt' s and shoot them in all my guns.
