Crosman Power Master 1st variant pump lever

Does anyone know if the lever from the modern 760 (Part No. 760D043) will fit the 1st variant Power Master (which uses part no. 760a023)? I called Crosman and they don't carry the part, so trying to figure out an alternative. I'm guessing probably not, but they look pretty similar. Mine is broken in 2 pieces.

If you're talking about the metal linkage that goes inside the pump handle then the answer is no, because the holes are positioned differently.

I just thought about this, too. If the other dimensions are the same, I would think I could drill it.

I'm sure you would too but, I would drill the lever and not the wood.

I have a newer 760 that I can probably take apart and compare to the 1st variant Powermaster pump lever. The only problem is, I'm not sure how to get the lever out of the wood handle, since there are only holes on one side of the handle. Only thing I can think of is cutting the roll pins.

I don't remember how far off the holes are, so drilling them might not be good.
If you have access to a welder you could fill the original holes in though, everything else is the same it's just the hole placement that's different.

The roll pins are hollow. You can take a drill bit the fits inside them and drill through from the side with the holes. This will locate the holes on the other side. Then you redrill back through with the correct size bit and drive the pins out. Always go slow, easy and straight  so you don't chip out any wood.

I have a second variant linkage with wood from a rifle I parted out for the o.e.m flat top valve half. Pm me if it will help.

You could also get ahold of Davio at Alchemy AirWerks. He has a ton of this kind of stuff.

I wasn't able to easily purchase the original style lever, but my dad was able to retrofit the modern lever to work with the first variant. The holes needed to be drilled in different locations, and some of the metal on top needed to be cut away to match the original dimensions. Pictures describing both modifications attached.
