I think the GRT III adjustment descriptions are really hanging up on semantics. I believe what the instructions may call the first stage - the 0.050 Allen wrench adjustment is actually taking the play out of the trigger before beginning the first stage pull. The adjustment screw actually adjusts the length of first stage pull - at least that's the way it seems to me. The "fat pin" is the second stage of the trigger. The geometry is such that the second stage actually pulls more easily than the first. It is a true two stage trigger but the second stage is not adjustable and is strange in that the pull gets easier.
I'm so confused,So should I turn the labeled 1st stage screw clockwise to shorten it and the second stage screw also clockwise to reduce the pull that seemed to get very long after I turned it anti clockwise yesterday ?

Turn the 1st stage screw (.50 allen head) COUNTERclockwise to shorten it. Turn the 2nd stage screw clockwise to shorten it's pull. Good luck! Ed
