It's still the best deal going for premium pellets.

Breakdown: $13.25 per 500 ct. tin. = $0.265 / pellet. That's a good deal, for premium pellets. I'll have into buying from Walmart. They are trying hard to stay competitive against Amazon these days.

Just like when buying a car or motorcycle, the question is what is the out-the-door price per tin or per pellet.

I wrote an email to straightshooters, as I like to order from them. I told them no intelligent person would buy pellets from them, except maybe the sampler pack, because of their ridiculous shipping rates. I don't believe that USPS damages pellets more than UPS. UPS is pretty much the standard package smashing shipper. Use flat rate boxes at $6 and proper packaging, like Pyramyd uses; it's simple.

I just called Straight Shooters because they listed a BKL 14mm to Weaver base riser I wanted and asked to see if it was in stock before I purchased online. I also asked about 2 tins of pellets I wanted. Items were in stock and the guy said he could ship it USPS small box for $7.25. I ordered it on Monday the tracking info says it will be here on Wednesday. I wish more companies would use use USPS.
