2nd Valuemax .20 cal chrony numbers...

I bought  a 2nd one back about a month and a half or so ago and finally got a chance between work, house chores and a 2nd Mod 95 stock I'm trying to get refinished, finally got it outside with pellets and chrony, sooo....

-H&N Baracuda 13.58gr: 694 average, ES 22, SD 6, 14.53 fpe
-Benji Dome 14.3gr: 666 average, ES 27, SD 8, 14.09 fpe
-JSB King 13.73gr: 715 average, ES 10, SD 2, 15.59 fpe
-H&N FTT 11.42gr: 773 average, ES 19, SD 5, 15.16 fpe

This one shoots right about 50 fps slower than the first one I bought across the range of pellets I used and not honestly worried about it as the plans are to tear down and tune both at some point and maybe even gas ram one of them.
Amazon still has a few of these left at $99.99 if anyone is still considering an inexpensive .20 caliber. I'm not sorry I grabbed a 2nd one while they still had some and because I just checked, 7 left in black and 2 in green...

Yeah I grabbed as second one in May. do you know where to get the adapters for a gas ram? thinking of doing one in a Crosman ram.

That's the same FPE I got from my HW97K .20 out of the box.

Cole, I never looked into the Crosman conversion so not a clue where to get adapters or what's even needed.

Stefan, I'm happy with the numbers I initially got and like I mentioned, the first one I got shoots roughly 50 fps faster with each of the pellets I tried, now I just need a good day to test the accuracy part of both rifles and the Weather Channel says tomorrow should be sunny and only 5-10 mph winds so we'll see....

I have no idea how fast mine is shooting but it packs a punch. I watched them for about a month before buying a black one (number eight). The green are selling faster though I don`t remember how many there were. If I had the funds I`d buy another because mine is a solidly built gun. I would like to tune it at some point to see how much smoother I can make it. It cocks nicely but even though it has quieted down some it still makes one heck of a twang.

Good luck. I'm guessing with the .20 cal and those heavy 16mm barrels that it should be accurate.

I think they got a long spring with a lot of coils that leads to the twang.

I put mine in a Hatsan Stryker S stock and did the longer screw on the trigger. I haven't gotten to tuning it yet. It's on the "to do" list.

I bought mine in green. I chopped a Hatsan 1000s and put it in the green stock. I love that "carbine". Top is the Webley in the Hatsan stock and bottom is the chopped 1000s "carbine".

One of my favorite features of the Webley is the length so I really like the looks of the 1000s chopped like that. Does that make it a lot harder to cock?

If yours has the 2 piece cocking arm like mine, you can put it in a wood Striker stock but you'll have to modify the inside of the stock for the roller on that cocking arm. You might also check the build date on the side of yours as both mine were built way back in 2011. I figured for being that old, they'd be on the dry side inside but they don't seem to be as, although both have twang, it's not all that bad. Everythng on both seems pretty smooth and the first one the twang has slowly faded on the more I shot it and I need to to try the FTT's in it as I didn't have those when I ran the chrony numbers on it.

Lead...they can be converted, the gun is basically a Hatsan Edge/Striker/1000 rifle with a .20 cal barrel so the Vortex rams from those rifles will fit in it.

Steve, Is that the first four numbers in the serial-1211=Dec of 2011? Mine was anything but dry except the stock screws had just a hint of rust on them. I had read they were in storage somewhere so I just cleaned them up.

If those first 4 numbers are 12 11, then yep, the build date is December of 2011. The first one I got is, the 2nd was built 07 11 so they've definitely been stored quite awhile.

I also didn't mind much because I planned on tuning both at some point anyway as I already have everything here to do the job, just depends on whether I want to use Vortek or ARH seals...I have both in the tool box.

  Your FPS numbers are good & will probably ease up a little higher after it has been shot some more.  I put a Hatsan Stryker wood stock on mine, after the tip of the forearm broke off.  Made it a fine looking rifle. I won't be doing anything more to mine since it is powerful & accurate as it is. ONE NOTE ; Mine is more accurate if firmly held, like you are shooting a high powered rifle. ENJOY !!
