One time today I was so cool with my air rifle: I stood in my basement at the mark, relaxed and limber, I slid my trusty Quest .177 springer into my correct and practiced Artillery Hold, unconsciously, like an accomplished pool player does with his stick before executing a clean side pocket...and, on the exhale, popped one off at 30 feet and almost hit the bull.  First shot. 

Happy Father's Day all you who make this board the best place to find the best inspiration and the most incredibly useful information out there!

I had a good great day.  After doing some shopping, we got home and I took a couple HOSPs with my P-17.  Apparently it DOES have enough power with head-shots using RWS wadcutters.

I mowed 3 acres, got done at 11, took a shower, went shopping for supper and bought steaks, mushrooms, bell peppers, tomatoes and onions. 4 lbs of 9-11 shrimp and wrapped them in bacon then we started shooting the guns while they marinated. The food was good but the shooting topped it off.

I have a 3" hanging target 52 & 33 yards and we were able to hit them with a Redtail, Stoeger X20, 1740, 1377 and my old 64 Dan.  And if that's not enough, I have a Crosman 114 coming in a few days. We even hit the 33 yard target with the Daisy Buck.

Plinking and drinking, who could ask for more. Happy Fathers Day to everyone!!!
