You've got a can of worms here. Droop compensation may be achieved via a dovetail to Weaver adapter. I understand the XS-46 has a dovetail on the receiver and comes with an adapter so you should be able to remove the included adapter and replace it with a droop adapter. The idea is not to add a droop adapter to get perfect elevation but to get it within a range with which you can work.I am not a big fan of adjustable mounts though I've only tried one type. They do work and they are stable I just don't personally like them. I am even less in favor of shimming scope rings as it can place undue stress on the scope tube. You are putting a slight angle on the tube but the mount angle doesn't change. Bending of the scope tube can result.
