Has anyone used or owned this compressor?

My shoebox is down for the count, while I have made arrangements to get her fixed I am thinking about getting this one. This way I will have a back up and not have to stress every time it goes down. My Shoebox cost me about $450 and she has paid for herself in less time than a year. My cost on air fillings  $15 each, 50 miles round trip (3 gallons gas) $9, wife's shopping waiting on tank to be filled $50 at least, lunch for the wife and kids $50. The total is $125 doing this 2 times a month is $250, so as you can see the compressor saved me about $3000 a year. Even if I only filled my tanks once a month it is still a great savings.

My other consideration is either another Shoebox or an Air Venturi Compresor, but those I would have to save up for, then again I do have a PayPal credit card to get the above compressor today.

I think the Carette may be a good deal but it gets pricey with options and then for a little more you're up to the big dog compressors.

What happened to your Shoebox?  I have a Max so I am curious if I should keep an eye out for something in particular.  I haven't run it yet since I bought it used off the classifieds.

I have that one in 110v. I got mine on Aliexpress. I have only had it for a month and only use it to fill my maurauder. So far so good.

RT610, yours is very similar to my Tuxing but not exactly the same.  Mine has the auto bleed/auto shutoff and that may be the difference in the hard line routing but also my cylinder head is gold colored and yours appears silver.  Is it Tuxing branded?  The auto bleed/auto shutoff features work fine but I usually operate it manually to try to get as much moisture out as possible and I let it run with bleed open for a couple of minutes as recommended after filling to keep moisture out of the compressor.  The one referred to above as DOA already was apparently used to fill to 4500.  They supposedly will do that but I bought this one to fill M10, Varmint, and Mk. II to 3000 and so far it has worked fine for that.  It did trip a breaker once when I had a fan, computer, TV, and satellite receiver all running at the same time in that room so now I just turn all that off for the few minutes it takes to fill these guns.  If I get anything that needs 4500 fill I would probably get a Carette or AV unit (or maybe an AireTex since I'm not too far from Dallas) but for the cost and convenience it has been fine for me for now (knock on wood that it lasts a while).

Mine is the Yong Heng. No auto shut off or auto bleed off. Those options were only available on the 220v from the vendor I ordered this from. I'm just happy I'm no longer hand pumping my rifle. It fills my marauder from about 1800 to 3000 in about 2 1/2 minutes with both filters attached. If I just use the small on it fills in about a minute.

I haven't saved the AireTex info anywhere but if you google it you should find it easily enough.  They make what appears to be an extremely good dive level compressor.  Not cheap but for 4500 fills and long term (probably lifetime) use it seems like it wouid be very good.  Located in Dallas as I recall since I thought about going there once when I had to go down but didn't have time.  If you can't locate it I'll find it for you.

The tub I Just picked up at Dollar General. It holds just over 3 gallons of water. I mixed about a 1/2 bottle of water wetter with the water. The filter is just a chinese extra large filter I ordered from the seller on aliexpress. I had to ask for it. The seller didn't have one listed on the website. It was an extra $60. I ordered it the same time I ordered the compressor so I didn't have to pay extra shipping. I had both filters apart twice. Only the small one seems to get some moisture in it. The large one seems to stay dry.

Another option for the water container-on the right is a Husky plastic toolbox.  Picked this up at either Lowes or Home Depot for $7.  Holds about 1.5 gallons and has carry handle on top and locking lid for secure carrying to change water.  Drill a couple of holes just smaller than the coolant lines and pass them through.  Pump is glued to bottom of toolbox.

Well I think I made my decision. If I can pick up a used Shoebox, that is what I will do. This way I will have two, if not a used Shoebox I will save my pennies and get the Air Venturi for a couple $100 more than a new Shoebox. I have heard good things about the Air Venturi from Tyler.

Just to clarify. The Tuxing I have is still working with doubled up burst disks.  It has just been one problem after another.

The shipping time is much faster than expected, the package came fedex air, I read about a guy in montana who had his compressor damaged in shipping.
When I saw the box I expected trouble, but even after unpacking the compressor I didn't notice the damage right away, But I saw the extent of the damage when I decided to look at the oil gauge, my royal purple compressor oil would come two days after the compressor so I wasn't going to do anything but verify the boxes contents.
The seller helped out a bunch, I explained the damage and sent photos, and within a week I received a new crankcase and compression head, and two rebuild kits.
I don't like these kinds of projects, but now I'm very familiar with the insides of my tuxing compressor.
I'm still glad that I bought it.

Hope I didn't come off stand off ish there but I just wanted to share that it works but I am using it only out of something like necessity.  I have a hill pump but it not worthy compared to compressor.  I still hate the compressor I have.  I am trying to decide whether to buy a Yong Heng style or get the omega air charger, of course money is a limiting factor.  The only tanks I have are a couple of modified 68cu in paintball tanks so the small compressor is sufficient to fill them but I swear the day seems like it will come when the little compressor craps the bed entirely.  Just venting while hoping to help everyone make their decisions.
