I would like to see a Mrod AR adaptor that replaced the stock end cap! Short, sweet, offset so it would be inline with the top of tube. It would use a Prod pistol trigger package along with a new sear from Lloyd.

No napkin drawing yet. Just a thought and an image of what I see in my mind of what it would look like. If people are happy to use a Prod trigger pack with grip, I'd be happy to provide a stock and not worry about designing a grip. There is the question of the handgaurd. Would users be ok with no handgaurd on their Mrods?

I like the idea of replacing the OEM endcap/hammer preload housing with an adapter for an AR15 stock. It would shorten the whole package and be more rigid. Good stuff!! I will add it to my list of things to design.

On my Mrod with an AR adaptor & AR stock, I would use the Prod trigger assembly includes the pistol frame and trigger guard.

Sorry to bring up a really old topic. I've been trying to decide between a Marauder pistol and a pp750.

The marauder pistol has the most appeal cause it seems to need less tuning out of the box. I'm ignorant on airguns and just want something I can shoot/hunt with without having to figure out tuning immediately. Right now, time doesn't really allow.

The pp750 has the better form factor though, mostly because of the stock.

This system seems to fix the form factor of the marauder. My googlefu is leading to nothing but deadends on this system though. Anybody know what the status on these are and if it's possible to get one?

I have the Marauder pistol and an SPA PP700 pistol which is a regulated, single shot pistol made by SPA which also makes the PP750.

I cannot recommend the Marauder pistol to anyone.
Stock, being unregulated and untuned, will give you a small number of good shots.
I have spent about 8-10 hours doing research and then various mods and countless shot strings to get it to be acceptable.
You will need to:
-do the BStaley mod
-drill transfer port larger
-replace hammer spring with a stronger one

On the other hand the PP700 was great out of the box.
Since it's regulated (like the PP750) it was very easy to tune to the velocity I wanted and gave me many usable shots.

Not to mention that the PP750 would cost much less than the Marauder pistol.

I have both in 22 cal. and shoot both from about 40 yards in. Both guns took some time to get them adjusted the way I wanted. They have a different feel and that may be the deciding factor for some.

Features for the price the PP750 wins in my book.
Smaller footprint
Regulated - big difference here
Lever action - also a "biggie" for me
Higher fill pressure (more shots) I have a compressor
Smaller magazine count (negative) but there are larger sfter market mags available

In my opinion the P-rod is ready to shoot out of the box (minus the rear sight) tuning is optional.
The PP750 was machined a "little" rougher on the internal componets, giving a slight gritty feel at first. After "break in" both guns felt better, however after tearing down both guns and polishing and maximizing each one, the PP750 has a much smoother action, more consistant shots and a far better trigger.

Both guns are pretty easy to work on, and straight forward. You can improve both with just hand tools. There are plenty of guys that will work on either one for you or this entire forum will help you get the job done yourself. The experience is priceless in understanding how PCP's work, if you like to do that sort of stuff. I have a new P-rod that was purchased as a back up to my older "tuned" P-rod. I really don't need two, Private Message me if you choose to go that route & I'll shoot you a fair price on it.

My Prods are heavily modded and nowhere near stock. I find them to be light, powerful with lowered shot counts so I have a double tubed and bottled to increase shot count & power.

I sold my 1720T to my brother for ratting, she was is a super sweet shooter. Light, quiet and on target every time. I miss this gun the most out of the few guns I have sold over the years.
 
My SPA PP700 gun has higher fill pressures and regged. Mine is for ratting & close-range gun when out hunting. She not running hot but will drop a rabbit in its tracks.

SPA PP750 I would have picked one up if it came out first before the PP700.

To ask me which one to buy based on, current options, availability price point, the SPA PP750 comes to mind. Small, lightweight gun, collapsible shoulder-stock, repeater, higher fill pressure/regged gets you more shots.

The Prods are kinda outdated in the new marketplace IMO.

I would NOT change a thing with my Prods. I can shoot .177, .22, 25 cal ammo, even bolts (arrows). Add in some cool shoulder stocks from Lee. Folding or collapsible shoulder-stock. 
The R.A.I AR Stock adapters rock too.
