Airforce Talon Pellets

Looking for people's suggestions on the best pellet for this gun.  I have tested quite a few pellets and it seems the JSB 25.39's and the JSB 33.95's are the most accurate out of this gun.  I haven't tried the Mark II's nor have I tried the H&N Barracuda Hunter extremes 28 grain. 

Anything anybody's tried that seems accurate?  I have tried the crow magnums, the H&N Field trophy (19 grain), EunJinn 42 grains, Grizzlies, GTO's and nothing shoots as accurately as the JSB pellets...

Anyone's experience would be welcome!

In my condor SS in .25 I use 31 grain H&N barracuda. I can take out tree rats out to 75 yards all day long and beer caps at 35 yards. In my talon SS in .22 I use Crossman 14.3 dome they are good and best of all cheap.

I second the barracudas ! They have a great BC, great quality and offered in different head sizes.

I've found every gun of mine that shoots JSB Exact Heavies well also shoots H&N Sniper Magnums well.  They have similar profiles and the H&Ns are real beasts.

Might be worth exploring them to see if they perform.

turn the power up on your gun and find the right bullet
then it is a matter of never looking at a pellet ever again .

I like that idea, Dale.  How do I tirn the power up?  Shoots 33.95 jsbs at 745 fps on highest setting...

I recall that Jimmy's brother had a Airforce Talon that had a upgraded valve
and man that thing made some power , we shot a lot of bullets one day and
it like one that was a 32 grain HP at 100 yards it did a 1/2" group unfortunately
I had very few of those bullets with me his Talon was shooting 980 somewhere .

Wow.  1/2" at 100.  Awesome.  I'll have to research Airforce tuning and upgrades.  I'm really happy with it, but I do want a bullet gun.  Thanks for the info Beard #1.  If you're out ther, GO GET EM!  -Beard #2.
