CP1 leaks gas

I am very new to CO2 pellet pistols. I have put about 600 pellets through this CP1. Today when I changed the cylinder, all the gas leaked out almost immediately when it was pierced. Its hard to say where it vented but through the valve seems the most likely. I tried another cylinder, and it immediately vented in the same way.
This pistol has never been opened. The only maintenance has been a drop of Pellgun oil on the face of the powerlet every third one.
I suspect someone can tell me why the gas might be leaking or at least what to check. I understand Mrodair is difficult on spare parts. Any sources for seals, o-rings, etc would be appreciated.

Did it leak out the barrel (a valve stem issue), out the back of the air tube/trigger area (a the o-ring between the two halves of the valve body), or the air tube itself at the front end cap (a 12gr seal issue at the piercing stem)? That's the only 3 seals at work during charging.

Thanks for the suggestions. I disassembled the pistol (except trigger). I found the two halves of the valve body loose. Cleaned the valve and valve body, lubed the o-rings, cleaned everything well and lubed the moving parts. It went back together easily and no leak! I can only think that valve body just vibrated loose over time. All the seals looked good. I'm hoping/expecting this clean / lube to last a long time.
The pistol shoots JSB RS and RWS Meisterkugeln to the same hole at 10M. Very consistent shooter. Now with the smoother bolt and trigger its easier to get good groups. Spinner at 25M needs the JSB weight and BC over the wadcutter. I did stretch the spring a little bit. Tomorrow will be chrony day.
For anyone on the fence about this pistol, I encourage you to take the plunge. My wife uses a red dot and really enjoys shooting this quiet, non-recoiling pistol.

I like the odd lite pistols as well. Really haven't found them complicated to work on, not too many spots where something can go wrong, and quite nicely accurate.
You've just beaten most of the owners....you've had it apart...now know what it all looks like then it works...so if/when it misbehaves again, can "Find Waldo" and know what's not right.

I promised chronograph results with the cleaned/lubed CP1-M.
JSB RS 7.33 gr MV 563 SD 4.8 Spread 15
MeisterK(P) 7.0 gr MV 557 SD 9.7 Spread 24
I counted "good shots" by ear and accuracy last night; 6 magazines or 54 shots. Maybe I'll actually shoot a whole gas cylinder over the chronograph some day but probably not. Too many other projects calling. The RWS was tight in the leade vs the JSB. Compared to your results from last March, the FPE and shot count are close.
I will use the above as my performance baseline in the future. I wish woodworking was in my DNA. The grip could use some adjusting.
