how fast is the bulldog 357 bullet moving when hits 60 yards? the chrony says!!

i was just curios to know especially  since i  hunt a lot and i have taken  lots of hogs at all  different ranges with many full pas throughs on hogs well over 200 pounds with the bulldog  and this gun has been  power tuned also,   well anyway i got my chrony out set it on its tripod  moved out to the 60 yard mark  filled the gun to 3100 psi  put in a 127 grain round nose in it  fired the first it did not register walked back down to it turned off then  back on to reset it  walked back  g sit down at the table on my back porch picked up the gun aim n fire first shot went through at  877 FPS   2  at  871 FPS  for 217 fpe at 60  yards!!  hey it made me even more happier and confident about this gun out in the field . :Dthen

Brave move but glad you got a result ! Also glad to hear that you're not suddenly getting a new Chrony. That's a lot of smack for an air gun. Best of luck !

Nice Randy. I'm sure you were confident of your rifle & your aim. 200+fpe should have no problem bringing home the bacon.

I just sent a Moderator to a guy in Hawaii that has a feeder setup at 60 yards from his backyard and is killing 150 to 250 lb hogs several nights a week using an H&N grizzly. He even said he had one that was a complete pass through on the skull.

So yes the bulldog still has enough power at 60 to kill those hogs.
